Happy World Radio Day, Sonoma County! We have an incredible fondness of radio, being founded in the wake of 101.7 THE FOX's demise back in March 2011. We still miss North Bay Underground and what they did to bring local bands to the spotlight, both with their Sunday evening radio show and their concerts with bands opening for national acts!

We hope you have some good memories from our work to connect local rock and metal bands with the true music fans of Sonoma County. We'd love to hear what you remember about SoCoRock. Please leave a comment with a favorite moment you have!

Covid has taken a toll on live music venues. They were the first to shut down and the last to re-open. Many of them shuttered permanently during the pandemic and others are still struggling to stay open and may close soon anyway. Support Local Music!!

This is what I realized when we started SoCoRock. So many amazing musicians around here. Better than what the mainstream pumps out. More genuine, more memorable, more personable, more fun. Blowing the roof off of the tiniest rooms as if they were the largest stadiums. Keep Rocking, Sonoma County \m/
