Here’s how dorm move out works…
If I do all the work to rent to storage unit for the summer, I don’t actually move the couches or any of the other big crap. Them the rules 😂
Our couch rotting featured here was from last weekend.
Tonight is actual move out and here’s what we know:
✅ the son has exams til around 6p
✅ he’s packed exactly ZERO things so far
which is fair cause we agreed the focus should be on exams! (Biomedical engineering major 🤷♀️…what?! I was just a journalism major 😂)
But if you wanna send me prayers, maybe a Dunkin’ gift card or Uber eats some dinner my way, I won’t turn it down 😂. Also prayers, juju, good vibes, whatever ya got!
I’m gonna be up late tonight (yeah, like after 😎, I’m gonna be carrying a bunch of sh*t and be around a bunch of people in very crowded elevators, hallways and parking lots!
Sounds like an ideal Friday night, no!??
(But really…my boy is about to be home for the summer and I’m so frickin’ excited! Eeek)

It was funny to me cause…it was just funny.
My husband yelled at me cause my eye rolls were apparently getting a little aggressive but I know I wasn’t the only mom in the room doing the exact same thing!
We go to a giant high school (like 900 kids/class) so there were “options” on who best to get the awards.
No hate to these kids! I’m sure these are great kids but the over/under on relationship to someone in the district was, ummm, off!
