Amit Namdev was born in central India. He started his yoga journey at the age of 12. However he was introduced to yoga asanas when he was 10 years old by his parents as a part of traditional orthodoxy. Amit studied institute of Yoga” for a one year program in Yoga and Naturopathy. After obtaining his diploma, he went to Dharamsala to teach yoga and practice Reiki. After this, he went to Rishikesh

at the Sivananda Ashram. There he started to teach tourists who were coming to Rishikesh. After 18 months of practicing and teaching, he went back to Dharamsala and started his Yoga school in 2005 which was based on Hatha Yoga, the traditional school of yoga. at the most famous Yoga School in Bhopal called “Ganguli

In 2007 he went to Kerala to stay in the Sivanada Ashram and did there his yoga teacher training program under Yoga alliance. In 2008 he returned to Sivanada Ashram and obtained his advanced yoga teacher training certificate. Along with the courses he followed, Amit was part of the staff of Sivananda Ashram. In 2009 Amit went to practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in Mysore, the mother city of ashtanga yoga, where Pattabhi Joise was based. To further enhance his knowledge he also practiced Iyengar Yoga with Usha Devi Rishikesh and Sharat Arora in Goa. After practicing Hatha, Sivanada, Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga, Amit came to the conclusion that there were some elements missing in each of the yoga asana practice. Therefore and In order to strive

Amit Namdevfor a continuous inner development Amit also studied Chi Gong, Tai Chi, NLP, EFT and Hypnotherapy. This all together enabled him to develop his own format of yoga where both alignment and flexibility are part of it, combined with aspects of alternative therapy in it. Amit is very passionate about teaching and not only that but also helping and enriching others spiritual growth with his knowledge in different areas. Beside that Amit is also very passionate about travelling and reaching the world and opening his mind and wings to broaden the mind and therefore his life.
