Mother nature's fury.
Mother nature......
Bursting with carnal energy!
Under the heavy downpour pounding the earth.
Unpredictable waters upsurge!
Breaking through dikes,
Small and great rivers bursting their banks
Dams breaking loose, flooding fields,
Sweeping houses away downstream,
Messing up lives, ruining crops, damaging cities,
Great windstorms,
Covering the countrysides with layers of sand.
Heavy thunderstorms,
Turning open plain fields into seas of mud,
Rendering travel impossible,
No natural barriers to invasion….!
At other times.....an insufficient overflow,
Deprives the land of water, Causing crop failure,
While the patriots and environmentalists
Run deeply committed to the mission as a business
Demolishing myths and misconceptions
About global warming…..
I can flag discombobulation from a far!
Antarctica isn't fast melting away they say,
Nor is Greenland defrosting,
Global temperatures are not rising rapidly,
Ocean levels not surging upwards,
We're not extinguishing some of the Earth's species,
Nor have we denuded the Earth of its forests,
The average life span is increasing not decreasing?
In short, dear old Earth ain't going to hell in a hand basket!
Grapple with this, he doesn't pull his punches,
Mankind now convinced, staring at the entire planet
With it's environment being destroyed around them.
It's an extraordinary delusion,
A global fantasy worthy of the Medieval Era
