Why Are Some Americans Already Rejecting a Coronavirus Vaccine?
A recent Associated Press survey that found only 49% of American adults say they plan to get vaccinated against #COVID19 if and when a vaccine becomes available. 20% said no way. 31% said they’re not sure.
Here is the opinion of the #NewsandNews.com Editor in Chief, Antonio Mora, on this subject.
He says, "It’s time for governments, health organizations, and educational institutions to take action and spread the truth about vaccines. Tough laws mandating them need to be passed and enforced, but using soft power could be even more effective in counteracting anti-vaccine propaganda."

The Perils of Coronavirus Predicting
When it comes to the economy, I think we are going to face a rocky road for a while. No immediate capital “U” or “V” curves but repeated lower-case “Ws” that will trend higher, but without major highs or lows beyond what we have already had.
Fear, or the lack thereof, will drive everything. What politicians say matters much less than what people do.

Journalistic Credibility
A free press and accurate, honest journalism are crucial to the American democratic process. Without well-informed citizens, our representative government can’t function properly.
Journalism’s failure is no less than a full-blown crisis for democracy.
And make no mistake about it, in our polarized society, journalism is failing all too often to deliver the objective, credible national reporting we all need to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
If we in the media allow partisanship to take precedence over journalistic standards and don’t even try to hide our biases, what moral authority do we have to claim to be purveyors of the truth and to hold the powerful to account?

Coronavirus Conspiracy Craziness
The #COVID-19 pandemic is creating a secondary epidemic of craziness. This “infodemic” of misinformation is spreading as fast as the virus, proving a lie will travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its boots.
One thing you can do is stop contributing to the problem by propagating false information and conspiracy theories. The insanity is ballooning on social media, everything from dangerous ways to treat the disease, to attacks on science and scientists.
Count to ten before you forward misinformation and turn yourself into a link in the conspiracy-theory chain. Better yet, look it up. Most of the time, others have done the work for you to debunk the craziness. Then you can be a part of the solution and not the problem.
