Reposting this The last one mysteriously vanished.
Speaking of embracing. I was invited to what I initially thought were Rocksteady Crew practices, but they weren't. I got connected to RSC through Jerry Fastfeet Fontanez. It wasn't fully explained. I had started off learning routines, but they weren't breaking. I was there for breaking. There were ciphers in the rehearsals, which I would get down in, but then it went back to the routunes. After a couple of times going, they noticed I wasn't learning the routines. They would eventually ask me to leave when the rehearsals started. One day, I showed up to get a little in on the floor, and before I left, I saw this guy on the other side of the dance studio killing some headspins. He introduced himself as Kwikstep. It was that day we traded math and he invited me out to New Jersey. I immediately noticed he trained like a martial artist with breaking. We developed a friendship and started hitting the Nightclubs. Not only that he showed me videos that breaking was still happening globally. Here we are 30 years later I thank him for his kind words. I might be quiet however this guy is quieter but speaks volumes with his moves. Shout out to @djks360 b-boy, dj, producer, drummer and master of much more
This is recap part 2a of 3. I had no idea Moe was catching these interciews. While there is so much to say about Rocafella that would take up more than an intagram or facebook post, I hope I can sum it up well. Thank you for your unwavering friendship, your kind words in this video, your unwavering support, and being a part of this lifelong journey. Times flies as we go back over 30 years now. You put it together and made me reflect when we were speaking at Lords of The Land. Over these last 30 years, we were getting down in the New York City Nightclubs and crossing paths in other in other countries and spots on the globe.. I appreciate you always. Thank you for your warrior spirit and everything else.
