Where can you create Instagram ads?
There are 2 ways of advertising content.
✨You can create ads through Facebook/Meta Ads Manager (which will give you the most options in terms of where you ad is served and who gets to see it.
✨You can boost organic posts, stories and reels by promoting them in app (ie from the post themselves)

For the majority for Facebook Advertising campaigns, you will end up paying 'per impression' which basically means you will be charged each time your ad appears in the feed of someone in your defined audience.
Although the algorithm does a great job of working out which of these people are responding best, you don't want to be wasting cash sending you ad to people who were never going to take the action you wanted them to (visit site, fill in form, purchase).
Research your audience and always have customer personas for your business so you have a clear profile of who you are trying to target. These should guide any cold audiences that you create in Ads Manager.

Today is a reminder to all of us that social media should be a place to actually be social, engage with each other, do business, communicate, but definitely not somewhere to be unkind, hurtful, or unpleasant to others.
In a way, it's a bit sad that we have to dedicate a day to remind all users to use kindness when tweeting, posting, or commenting on socials. It should come naturally, right?
Being behind a screen means we cannot see the other person's reaction to our comments, but the solution is simple: don't type something you wouldn't say in real life!

Spinning Wheel of Doom
AGGHHH!!! So I was all prepped and ready to go live today to talk about Facebook ads to a The Business Womans Network membership group. I was screensharing some slides through FB live producer as I've done before and feeling pretty confident until I pressed 'GO LIVE' and was presented with the spinning wheel of doom! 😱😱😱
Tech issues, whether wifi related or just one of many 'glitches' can really throw you when you're all prepped and ready to go. I had to abandon my slides and simply deliver a talk which was great for pushing me out of my comfort zone and do you know what? It went well. It sometimes takes a challenge to make you stretch your muscles and have a bit of faith in your own abilities. 💪
If you want to use Facebook Lives but are a little terrified of broadcasting to your page, then give me a shout. I set up a test group for clients for this very reason. You can test your post, it only broadcasts to us and then you can watch it and delete it. It's great for finding your feet!
