Over 100 years in the business, Pari Shokudo has been a family-run restaurant that withstood World War II and is now a registered National Tangible Cultural Property. But over the years, the building has started deteriorating, and it’s become harder for Kawabe-san to keep the business going. Here’s a simple 7-day Japan itinerary idea for first-time visitors 🇯🇵

For Tokyo, I’d recommend exploring areas like Ueno, Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Koenji, and Nakano.

Then slow things down in Kyoto with spots like Gion and Nishiki Market.

If you’re like me and want to eat high quality sashimi without constantly checking the price, this spot is a must!
They’ve got a huge variety and you can even make your own poke bowls. On top of that, they also offer fried dishes, fruit, and fish soup.
Honestly, compared to places like Tsukiji that are packed with tourists and tend to be overpriced, this place is way better value for money.

This Tokyo restaurant doesn’t care about profit as long as you are leaving the place full and happy.

At ‘Come On’ you can get a 2.5kg omurice, massive karaage, multiple kebab wraps and more for under $3, upsize as much as you want for free as well!

Run by Mr. Mansu and his wife, this cozy izakaya has been a local favorite for 30+ years. Tag someone who could finish this omurice😤
