Foundation Albert Roussel was established and led by Germaine Mounier until her death in 2006. The leadership was consequently taken over by former artistic director Jenny Zaharieva, who is currently the head of the organization. The mission of Foundation Albert Roussel is to contribute to the strengthening of the cultural ties between France and Bulgaria through collaborations between artists, pe

dagogues, and young talents of both countries. Opportunities for diverse forms of cultural exchange will be presented through competitions, conferences, seminars, round tables, and workshops with leading participation of both countries. The main event will be the organization and running of the International Piano Competition "Albert Roussel" in Sofia, which will have its 10th edition in October 2014.

Our Story

Opportunities for diverse forms of cultural exchange will be presented through competitions, conferences, seminars, round tables, and workshops with leading participation of both countries. The main event will be the organization and running of the International Piano Competition "Albert Roussel" in Sofia, which will have its 10th edition in October 2014. The 12th edition of the International Piano Competition ” Albert Roussel” in Sofia will take place in October 2018 .
