SYN is a label project put together in Paris by a group of friends who share a common passion for music. Following the same musical path throughout high school, we all played in bands and composed together. At the beginning of university, our studies led us to different locations and as we each continued to play on our side our focus gradually shifted to computer music. Before long, we all started
experimenting with sounds, stretching our minds to the new possibilities electronic music had to offer. As our compositions matured, we decided it was time to take a step forward and materialise our mutual efforts in the musical domain. Along these lines, the project regroups a selection of arrangements that we have commonly considered as being in tune with the group’s artistic unity. Although we are not trying to define a particular style, our pieces remain electronic in nature and bear the distinguishable features of our various influences. Through this diversity, our aim is to provide an unconstrained and wholesome musical experience that we hope will offer original perspectives to our followers. SYN was created on February 18th 2012 and currently comprises six members:
