Tomorrow's the big day!
Cthulhu Dreamt TTRPG goes live on at 10:30a EST.
We thought it'd be fun to have a Q&A open to everyone on the Action Fiction discord on Launch day.

Fable Factory has been excellent and this is going be a phenomenal project! We've got to work with them so PLEASE GO SUPPORT THE KICKSTARTER so we can make this a reality!

Just in case you haven't heard yet, the Cthulhu Dreamt project has launched their Kickstarter to support the production of the TTRPG, OST, Novel, Comic, and ARG.

We're working in association with Action Fiction to bring you some awesome stuff. So, if you or anyone you know is into sci-fi, fantasy, horror, TTRPGs, metal, film music, and/or puzzles, please consider backing and sharing the project with people you know!

5e and the new OGL. Under the OGL, the game and the community thrived together. Changes to that license threatened to destroy that bond. As fellow creators, Action Fiction stands with those that refuse to let them do this to our hobby.

If anything resembling the leaked language should come into effect, Action Fiction would be publishing no new OGL content, and would be keeping OGL v1.0a for all of our existing products and previously released free material.

In addition to this and until further notice, in order to protect our works, we may be forced to not hire any freelancers that sign any new version of the OGL if the language of that license creates a risk of ownership for our work.

If this comes as a shock or is a concern to any contractors who have worked with us, or wish to work with us in the future, we are more than happy to explain why signing the new OGL could put all our past and future works at risk. Please DM us.

Reason appears to have won for now, but until WotC accepts independent creators for the value they bring to the hobby, we remain on guard. In case they decide to try again, we may just have to find a new path.
