They Made a Promise is an independent online project designed to document and monitor promises made by politicians in the UK. Our mission is to make politics and politicians more accountable. In the run up to the UK General Election on May 7th 2015, we will be adding campaign promises made by all major parties. We will also review promises made by the outgoing Coalition Government, as well as key individual pledges made by Conservatives and LibDems during the 2010 election.
