At a time when talking about the importance of q***r relationships on French television is more than needed, Candice, our Assistant Editor and resident Parisian, wrote about ‘Carlice’s revolutionary storyline.

Ella Watts has become a well-sought-after creative voice in the audio drama and podcast world. Named as one of The Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30 last year, Ella’s a champion of good storytelling and under-represented voices, and her newest project, Camlann, is no exception. The q***r, “apocalyptic, epic fantasy Fiction Podcast based on folklore and Arthuriana” is her authorship debut, and we’re loving it! In January, we caught up with her to hear about her banger of a 2023 and what’s in store for her in 2024. We hope it’s going just as she planned!

The hilarious, absurd, and wholly original Operation Mincemeat is truly a show you can’t miss. Fast-paced, clever, and enchanting from its first moment, Spit Lip’s West End musical comedy has earned every five star review it’s gotten (and it’s gotten quite a lot!) Based on the real-life World War II event by the same name, this “quietly q***r” musical comedy sounded wonderfully weird enough that we just had to see the magic for ourselves. Spoiler alert: we loved it.
