Some of you may know . I worked with him quite a bit when I lived in LA. I always loved his talent, his tenacious drive and his willingness to try stuff in the studio but most of all, I loved how every time he came to the studio, he brought brand new hot wheels for Mason. Many of those times, going out of his way to stop at or to make sure he didn't come empty handed. He lives in San Diego and would drive 3 hrs to do sessions. Sometimes having a hard time filling the tank but never without for Mason. When it came time for us to leave LA and move to Indiana, with no prompting at all he drove 3.5 hrs from San Diego just to help load the truck for well over 5 hrs. After I left, he would text and I was sometimes too busy to respond right away but one night we finally caught up and we had a good talk about stress and life and he said before the end of the call " hey, just know you can call me anytime. Even if you just need to get s**t off your chest." I haven't done a good job of keeping in touch with him. I'm like that sometimes, getting lost in whatever the next objective is. When I saw him first post about his cancer, I didn't even know how to respond or connect because all I could think about is how unfair it is for a guy like Travis to have this happen. He's doing a GoFundMe now to cover the cancer treatment. I'm donating cuz it's the least I can do but I'm sharing so other people can understand who this guy is and why he shouldn't have to fight this alone. Please consider donating and if not sharing. This tour has been super fun. There are only two of us. Me and but the vibe has been amazing, the response has been amazing and to be honest, I'm having the most fun I've had performing in years. I realized that without , and Ra just doesn't feel like Ra. Weirdly, since I performed all the parts and play the bass and second guitars virtually, for me, it really does feel like Ra and the audience feedback seems to confirm this. I'm definitely using some pro studio trickery to make sure the show doesn't feel like it's a bunch of tracks but I really feel loose and free to perform. I hope you can make it to one of the next batch of shows. Right now I'm flying home so I can kiss my wife and blast some fortnite with my son before I roll out again on Thurs for the rest of this tour with and . Vip still avail for the rest of the shows.

One hour and 40 minutes and no bag for more than half of the passengers. and This is the second time after 14 hr trip. Seems easily solved by more vehicles to move luggage instead of 15 minute gaps between dumping off 15 bags at a time with 300 passengers.

Last Saturday, I had the honor of singing the national anthem for 600 soldiers in the Fort Wayne area. Very nerve racking and I had a couple shaky moments but it was a beautiful event. They kept thanking me for doing the event but I was the grateful one. America's bravest. #army #fortwayne #nationalanthem

The @kayrom_studios guys made this awesome movie about semi pro football and I was lucky enough to be asked to score the trailer. I'm hoping I get to work on the full feature as well. So, cool story... At least for me. I met @badflowerjosh on the 2020 Shiprocked and briefly talked with him about songwriting. It was a cool chat but he didn't see Ra perform so I was just some guy stopping him on the boat. But I had seen his set and just loved it. I wanted to connect but I could tell, tho polite, without context he wasn't really to engaged. So this time around I was like... I'm gonna make sure he sees my set with Jason Hook ( will post some of that later ) but of course no luck.. I wasn't even sure why I cared so much. Maybe cuz he's a one man band... Who doesn't do cowrites and his note selection and melodic aesthetic feel so familiar. Anyhoo... No dice... But later that night, at karaoke, he was there and I'm like ... Uh uh... Not this time so I sang 4 songs... Locked out of heaven by Bruno Mars ( which I dedicated to Jesse from 10 Years ) then our soon to be released Backstreet Boys cover of Incomplete, then Roxanne and finally Lose your love by the Outfield. I wasn't sure he was still there but as I walked to the bar I saw him and he said my vocal literally stopped him in his tracks. We then had the artist to artist conversation I was craving. He was great to talk to with equal parts arrogance and talent... Very much like someone else I know... It was very satisfying and I now call him a friend. Cut to this performance featured here.it was his second one with wind and a misting of rain still just owning the deck with the best sounding set both sonically and creatively. I knew he had partied into the morning so I noticed the vocals were a little low in the mix but he still sounded incredible. After the show I quickly said hi and he gave me a great smile and we talked about the state of his voice which of course he thought was rough... It was not... but nonetheless he was relieved to be done. He did say that while he was on stage he thought " sh*t, I know he's out there and he's probably thinking what's up with the voice..."
