Dirty Three are at large in Australia for their longest run of live dates in over a decade - and we’ve been seeing + hearing some supremely happy fans claim that the Three are dirtier than ever. This clip of the boys at practice is a small taste of the incredible level they bring when they take up their instruments.
We’re hoping for more dates to be announced soon in anticipation of their first new music release since 2012. Love Changes Everything is out next week, June 28th!
“JJ” arrives on 6/17. Get a reminder for the Official Premiere via link in bio.

The Nathan Bowles Trio, hot off the announce of Are Possible, are no strangers to woodshedding (whether it be in the shed, the garage, or otherwise). Here’s some of that NBIII energy as they run through lead single “The Ternions” in preparation for their upcoming tour dates — a taste of the possible, no doubt!
How would you describe Wand in one word?
Composer/musician/Camoufleur-head Tyondai Braxton waxes and weighs in on the Gastr del Sol We Have Dozens of Titles phenom currently trending right now. If you haven’t got yours yet, we have dozens more copies, don’t sleep!
Chris Corsano working on his string drum technique, on a snare drum he’s rigged up to do just that! Chris’ sick kit skills sometimes start with assembly itself - how better to get in touch with your craft than to craft your kit before you play it? This technique and TONS more on Chris’ 6/28/24 release The Key (Became the Important Thing [and Then Just Faded Away])!

In addition to embodying the celebrated entertainment franchise Helado Negro (and pleasing the people with his music, to boot) Roberto Lange also numbers himself among the camp of GastrdelSolheads (a genial but ever-multiplying bunch). He’s got some things to say about the band behind the boxset (and they’re good things, too) - notes that only someone gifted enough to a fan would know to say. Cheers, Roberto!

David Grubbs: Renaissance man or modern day Johannes Factotum? We can’t decide! Whether playing the music, teaching about it or just plain speaking on the topic, he’s always contributing. Here, he surveys his own personal collection which includes Abdul Wadud, Luc Ferrari, Leroy Jenkins and more. Take it David!
MacKay slidin’ into your feed!
It just makes everything better, the slide.
