I'm not just a podcast audio editor, I'm a podcast host too. My greatest asset to being a podcast editor is being a podcast host. My show about nerdom fandom and pop culture politics called Super Tangent Podcast has been up since 2017 and I do my own editing for it because I LOVE the process. I am continuing to learn a lot between DAWS and not just post- but also pre-production.

It's largely what helps make me an excellent editor that understands the differences between removal and adjustment, volumes and LUFS, and background removal and gating. If you work with me...you won't be disappointed. I might just be that silly nerd podcaster that knows what he's talking about when it comes to this audio editing stuff 🙃🥂

I haven't posted in a while and it's time to pick things back up! A new website is in the works and I think it's also time to revamp my systems. However, I never left the game, so don't call it a comeback. I've always been here. It's just time to be MORE VISIBLE.

Do you journal?

It's an important practice I'm trying to get back into, for my own mental wellness as well as to simply keep track of my emotional intelligence and bigger life events. We are all the top management of our own lives. When it comes to our own lives and health we report to very few people. Our counselor or doctor, our spouses or significant other, our parents or close friends, God, etc.

⭐⭐Management of our podcasts isn't too dissimilar⭐⭐

Most weeks we have nobody else to really report to except ourselves. Sometimes we forget what we learn, and life will challenge us not to face our depression, lack of energy, or personal trials head on and get back to business the right way (because there are wrong ways of handling business). We have to create our own goals our own schedules, and develop our own networks to find collaboration and support. OH, not to mention actually getting your podcast out there!

As I obide by the same principles, I serve to help others in their podcast journey by means of sharing my expertise in audio editing 😀 (spoiler alert: im pretty good at it). Come consult with me and let's see how we can work together. 💪🏿

My thoughts are running to one year ago, when I got laid off from my full time job due to COVID, only to return and *get fired*

**in the same day**

Because I was no longer affordable to keep.

I definitely believed I had failed myself and my family. I didn't think my financial goals would be reached. As it turns out, the measurements by which I defined my success were skewed. My talents as a and were truly being undervalued and underutilized.
