Last week we took a back country canoe camping trip on the Mattawa River in Northern Ontario. This was our final campsite on day 4.

We arrived at the location a few minutes before sunrise to find storm clouds rolling in. Luckily a bit of color peaked through and the clouds and accentuated the mood we were looking for. It was too early for anyone else to be out so we had the entire beach to ourselves.
