Thank you to my family, to my Global Vision Bible Church family, friends, co-writers, all songwriters, artists, musicians, music professionals, and all the people behind the scene that make it happen, you have touched my life and thank you for sharing the gift of YOU with me.
I pray that I have touched your life with love, encouragement, kindness, a smile, support, a hugged when needed, and with the light of Jesus.
I am humbled with this honor. And Blessed to share this honor with our friend, co-writer, and brother in Christ, James Breedwell Thank you.
Some of you may not have ever met James, but those of us that knew him, remember that he loved Jesus, songwriters, and writing songs (and he wrote with many of us reading this post), he loved promoting songwriters, artists, and musicians with the hundreds of songwriters events he hosted around Nashville. In the more recent years, he has co-written many worship and praise songs sung at Global Vision Bible Church, which were heard worldwide, and he was co-writer on the title track for the GVBC hit movie “Come Out In Jesus Name”. James also had his Go Go Go Tell the World About the Lord Jesus ministry. He was always filming brief videos of others sharing about Jesus, his van was covered with Go Go Go Tell The World About Jesus. At church, when Pastor Greg Locke would get fired up preaching the Word of God, from somewhere in the tent James would shout out GO GO GO and we miss hearing James shout out those words. Everywhere James went he was sharing Jesus, and he would hand out bibles and food to the homeless. He didn’t just talk the talk but he walked the walk.
I have no doubt that when James entered heaven this past year, he was shouting GO GO GO, singing and praising our Lord Jesus Christ. And as Jesus threw his arms open welcoming James, I am sure our Lord said “WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”. Which should be a desire for each of us.
