Today marks our 50th episode, and also, over 10 years of this podcast, so to celebrate, I got up with my friend , who was our first guest on this podcast back in 2012, to catch up on the awesome changes he has made in the last decade, including a new job supporting minoritized students in this politically polarized time, as well as becoming a dad again for the fourth time (!) and the changes he has made and recognized in himself. I am super stoked on this interview, hope you all enjoy it!

Today's interview is a followup interview with my friend Tim Towslee ( ) about why he had to step back from teaching, after almost 18 years of making it his life. And its a timely story, considering that a lot of the pressures he and his colleagues were facing, and the predicaments they were placed in, are ones that are only increasing with the demands of the pandemic.
