Todays interview is a conversation with Thomas Barnett, who you may know from singing for Strike Anywhere, Great Collapse, or where I got to know him, as the singer of Inquisition.

Thomas was one of the folks who, both by example, and personal interaction, showed me how amazingly positive and humanly connected punk rock could be, and has continually inspired me since my early teens. So to get to have this conversation with Thomas, and share it with you, especially in this time where we are all thinking of what things hold value to us all, is especially awesome.

This interview isnt the normal format, but is rather, a conversation. Due to length, there are two small breaks, where i thought it seemed appropriate.

You can listen at variousthingspodcast.com, as well as Apple podcasts, Spotify, and most podcasting apps. Enjoy!

I met Thomas Barnett around 1993, when he was the singer for the band Inquisition. As a young punk here in Richmond, inquisition showed a path for me and my friends, that was both inspiring and empowering, both in their content and in operation. Thomas had a clear love for both people, and punk rock...
