Dr Tala Alsoleiman is a Saudi clinical psychologist, wife and mother. She is based in Jeddah and is the co-founder of the Adult & Child Therapy Center; the first psychological services center to be licensed by the Ministry of Health.

She has been in the field of psychology for 20 years working with adolescents, adults and parents. In the span of 20 years, she earned her psychology degrees from the UK, starting with a BA in psychology, MSc degree from UCL in psychoanalytic developmental psychology followed by a doctorate in clinical psychology from Kings College London.

In a conversation with Al Sharkiah, Dr Tala Alsoleiman talks about the importance of mental health and psychosexual therapy.

Farrah El-Dibany is considered to be one of the most successful Egyptian mezzo-soprano singers of today and well on her way to international stardom. Farrah has captivated audiences across the globe with her technically skilled vocals. She is the first Egyptian artist, as well as being the first Arab, to win the prestigious "Prix Lyrique 2019 de l'AROP Award" at the Opera Paris. Meet the woman of many talents: Tara Emad Al-Dughaiter, an independent curator, writer and singer based in Saudi Arabia.

After achieving a degree in Mass Communication with a special focus on Arts and Humanities, Al-Dughaither pursued a master's degree in Culture, Criticism and Curation at London University of Art’s Central Saint Martins. Her interest toward contemporary Arab art and culture led her to explore poetic images and oral traditions which became the catalyst to her current project.

Today, Tara is heavily invested in her project, “Sawt Asura”, an open source digital library drawing from her own practice as a vocalist researching the experiences of Saudi women’s singing practices, rituals and the exploration of transient documents in contemporary art. The goal of the platform is to empower local voices and experiences, shining a light on the role women have traditionally played in society through their voices and natural musical talents.
