CALL FOR PAPERS/PRESENTERS/WORKSHOP LEADERS

Gemma McGarry and I are hosting another Midlands Voice Conference at The University of Northampton on 2nd & 3rd September 2023 and are looking for presenters and workshop leaders.

If you would like to be considered to present or run a workshop, please send proposals to me at [email protected].
Closing date for submissions is 12.00 on 29th May 2023.

In previous years, we have had workshops and/or presentations by Barbara Houseman, Yvonne Morley-Chisholm, Hazel Holder, Joel Trill, Anne-Marie Speed, Aundrea Fudge, Sylvie Lui, Deborah Garvey, Edda Sharpe, and Tim Charrington. The keynote speaker(s) are yet to be confirmed this year.

The theme of the conference is 'Locus of Focus: where you put your attention when working with voice'. This could be from a pedagogical, methodological, physiological, psychological, metaphysical, medical, clinical or any other perspective and was inspired by the motor-skills acquisition research by scientists like Gabrielle Wulf, and Cari Barone Tellis.
