Weather in the Tri-State Forecasts for Long Island, New York City, northeastern New Jersey, and southern Connecticut

The goal of this page is to provide accurate forecasts for the following areas: Long Island, New York City, northeastern New Jersey, and southern Connecticut. The following counties will be covered: Nassau and Suffolk on Long Island, New York, Kings, Queens, Richmond, and Bronx in NYC, Bergen, Essex, and Hudson in New Jersey, and Fairfield and New Haven in Connecticut. I will be updating this page

daily with as accurate a forecast as I can produce. As a senior meteorology student at SUNY Oswego, I will be using several numerical and statistical models to aid in my forecasts, as well as my own judgment. Also, this page will serve to notify the public of any severe weather watches/warnings as issued by the National Weather Service in Upton, NY or the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK. Occasionally, I may write a forecast discussion which will consist of more meteorological details than one would typically hear about in a forecast seen on TV. If anyone has any questions about anything weather related, please feel free to ask.
