Artillery Recordings An independent record label. Artillery Recordings is all about releasing great music, no matter the genre, style or vibe. [email protected]

Founded in 2012 by Mark Turner, Artillery has gone onto release music from both up and coming and established artists including, King Dinosaur, P.E.S.T., CutWires, Echo Park, Players Please and Devil’s Gun. Mark Turner – Founder / Director / A&R

Mark left his city job in 2006 to follow his passion of music and launched Wrong Planet later that year, a production music library and publishing compan

y with a catalogue of over 50 albums that’s discovering and signing great new music every week. Mark decided he wanted to give some of these artists commercial exposure, and so Artillery was formed. Outside of managing Artillery and Wrong Planet, Mark is an international producer, nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards for his work with Portuguese electro rock artist, Slimmy. His music has featured on both television and radio, and can be regularly heard on the BBC, ESPN and FOX. Under his Players Please moniker, Mark released music through Eye Industries (home to Russ Chimes, Alan Braxe, Michael Gray, Kurtis Mantronik). His ‘Feels Like Fire’ record sampled Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s ‘Power of Love’, the first time the band had cleared a sample in over 10 years. He’s had plays on BBC Radio One, Kiss, Ministry of Sound Radio, as well as support from Pop Justice, Pete Tong, Sister Bliss, Steve Aoki, Steve Smart and Eddy Temple-Morris. [email protected]
