Who We Are

Novus Music Publishing, Inc. is dedicated to publishing new music for the purposes of helping new, obscure, and eclectic composers.

Our Founding Collection is a testament to these values as it includes a wide variety of scores, ranging from advanced choral literature, to chamber music, to solo music for the sophisticated musician. The Founding Composers are individuals who were hand picked by Jesse Kaiser and Kolby Van Camp for the Founding Collection and exemplify excellence in compositional techniques.

Novus Music Publishing, Inc. takes a less conventional approach to publishing than current traditional music publishing companies. For example, while it is recommended that our composers have a live recording of their works, Novus Music Publishing, Inc. does not require compositions to have live performance recordings as a criteria for publication.

Additionally, Novus Music Publishing, Inc. is dedicated to paying composers what they deserve for their compositions. Compared to the 10% or less payment models of today, we guarantee all of our composers 65% of royalties made off of their compositions, with opportunities to make that number grow. Our pricing model is unique in that choral scores and orchestral scores are sold at a flate rate of $25.00 or more. However, these numbers are significantly higher because for these scores, our customers are purchasing printing rights for their organization. Why pay $2.50 for fourty scores from a traditional publishing company when you can pay a flat price of $25.00(+) for an infinite amount of scores?
