To celebrate the final bands for the Cambridge Indiepop All-dayer 2023 being announced, the new Grrls Like Us mixtape features a few of the artists performing - Emma Kupa, Sassyhiya, ME REX & Dream Phone!

You can also hear fantastic new releases from Virgins, The Seshen, Orla Gartland, & Who Is She alongside a few older favourites (including an All Ashore exclamation mark classic from a couple of years ago!).

I think this is my favourite mix to date - it's packed with indiepop and noisy DIY pop - hope you like it!

I finally got round to pulling together a new mixtape!

Kicking things off with Betty Blowtorch's oddly poppy 'No Integrity' (they usually have a noisy L7-esque vibe - Jennifer Finch was in the touring band at one point, fact fans!), there's a full hour of DIY noisy stuff, p***y pop and indiepop with new(ish) tracks from Special Friend, Gold Baby, Panic Pocket, Lambrini Girls, Oceanator. Happy New Year! I hope 2023 is treating you all well so far.

I wanted to tell you about some exciting things I've got lined up for the new year!

I'll be putting some live shows on with the wonderful Mash Guru in Macclesfield. I'm booking bands that I love and have played loads on the podcast for these shows and am super excited to be bringing Nervous Twitch over for the first one on 18 February! I know some of you live hundreds (or thousands!) of miles away but take a look at the event invite here (Nervous Twitch & Grrls Like Us DJs @ MASH) for more info! I have another exciting band booked for the next GLUxMASH night on 29 April.

The next Grrls Like Us episode will be out at the beginning of February with the legendary Helen McCookerybook on guest picking duty.
