"Rupert Clervaux and Dania loop fragments of Verdi's 'La forza del destino' on this ambitious 77-minute album, spicing them with improvised vocals, tape delays, drums and shruti box drones."( Boomkat.com )

Cover hint: the artwork comprises an edited image of the Rokeby Venus, painted by Spanish master Diego Velázquez in the mid-17th century. The painting was later butchered by suffragette Mary Richardson with a meat cleaver in 1914 to protest Emmeline Pankhurst’s arrest.

Chirico's contribution was recorded live during the live programme curated by us with the PHASE collective.

Marco Chirico is a sound artist and designer based in Firenze.

His greatest passion is drawing lines, both graphical and imaginative, to connect seemingly unjoinable ends.
His creations aim at devising a previously unseen continuum between heritage and futuribility, at the constant research of new cartographies of the collective consciousness.

The same sincretic vision lies at the foundation of Kasei Archive , the multidisciplinary project he co-founded in 2020, bringing together fashion, craftsmanship and music.

ever excellent and refined DPK 800 is the next guest of the shared curatorship with PHASE for Centro per l'arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci 's programme.

Giovedi' 22 giugno 1900-2100 Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Pecci, Prato

DPK800 is a music devourer + disseminator, record collector, member and DJ of the PHASE collective. Influenced by dub and jungle, he takes refuge in sonic experimentations devoid of genre and footholds of any kind. He is nicknamed Spotyphase from the insatiable desire to always listen to something fresh and new, all the time.

The night starts at 1800 to midnight and Radio Papesse and Carolina Martines are our fantastic travelling companions in this event.
