In the 1930s, Beinn Ghlas in Highland Perthshire was the centre of the Scottish skiing universe and some of the first Scottish ski races were held on its slopes. The construction of purpose built ski resorts in the 1950s caused the crowds to drift away but now, thanks to a resurgence in the popularity of ski touring, the area is back on the map. This is their story - and the story of the people who skied there before them.
