if i could recommend anything on the spot right now it’d probably be this book — i’ve had an.. interesting last several months but i can say everyday, especially right now, i’m even happier than i was the day before & i think this book has helped a tremendous amount.

I decided to forget my phone at work Saturday night and by the time I noticed and drove all the way back, everyone was gone. and the best part? we’re closed on Sunday’s :) so I couldn’t go back and get it yesterday either 🥲

it’s been about a week of my new job and honestly it’s 1000x better - my mental state has definitely improved, I don’t dread going.

Work shouldn’t make you cry, it shouldn’t feel like a chore, and it shouldn’t get to the point where you’re taking it home with you and taking out your frustrations on your family without realizing it 🥺
