And here is the FP from VOVA that placed him 7th out of 11 with a score of 143.79, that included the 5th highest TES but also a one point deduction for a fall, at the ISU GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING event SKATE CANADA, which took place in HALIFAX, CANADA, from FRIDAY 25TH through until SUNDAY 27TH OCTOBER.

VOVA finished in 5th place overall with a total score of 222.90.

So we have another super result to bring you for VOVA, who now just seems to be going from strength to strength, from the ISU GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING event SKATE CANADA, which took place in HALIFAX, CANADA, from FRIDAY 25TH through until SUNDAY 27TH OCTOBER.

In the SP, VOVA placed 6th out of 12 with a score of 79.11.

In the FS, VOVA placed 7th out of 11 with a score of 143.79, that included the 5th highest TES but also a one point deduction for a fall.

However, the placement of the other skaters resulted in a 5th place out of 11 overall finish for VOVA with a total score of 222.90, which was a really great result in such a strong field of skaters.

Bravo VOVA 😍❤️ !

So we have a super result to bring you for VOVA from the DENIS TEN MEMORIAL CHALLENGE 2024, which took place in ASTANA, KAZAKHSTAN, from WEDNESDAY 2ND through until SATURDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2024.

In the SP, VOVA placed 3rd out of 13 with a score of 84.03, and again in the FS, VOVA also placed 3rd out of 13 with a score of 161.97. However, the placement of the other skaters resulted in a 2nd place overall finish for VOVA with a total score of 246.00.

Bravo😍❤️!

Sadly VOVA did not have the start to the 2024/25 season that he would have hoped for last weekend at the CHALLENGER SERIES event the LOMBARDIA TROPHY, which took place in BERGAMOT, ITALY, from FRIDAY 13TH through until SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER.

His overall placing was 13th out of 22 with a total score of 183.80.

In the SP he placed 15th with a score of 60.03, that included the 12th highest PCS but also a one point deduction for a fall, and in the FS he placed 12th with a score for 123.77 that included the 11th highest TES.

He looked clearly disappointed, so here’s hoping for a better outing next time!

TODAY (FRIDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER) the 2024/25 season begins for VOVA at the CHALLENGER SERIES event the LOMBARDIA TROPHY, which is taking place in BERGAMO, ITALY, from TODAY through until SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER.

THE MEN SP is due to commence at 15.30 local time/14.30 UK time/17.30 Moscow time, TODAY with VOVA scheduled to be the 18th (1st out in the 4th/final warm up group) skater to take to the ice, at 17.47 local time/16.47 UK time/19.47 Moscow time, out of the 23 in this competition.

So last week at the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024, MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA, VOVA was not able to show his best in the MEN SP, which took place on THURSDAY 21ST MARCH.

Placing 25th out of 40 with a score of 72.16, that included the 24th highest TES, and the 22nd highest PCS, but also a one point deduction for a fall, meant that VOVA did not qualify for the FS as only the top 24 go through.

We, of course, were absolutely gutted 😞🙄😢 ! However, we are now looking forward to a brighter new season with anticipation…..

So…competition at the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024, MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA, kicked off YESTERDAY (WEDNESDAY 20TH MARCH), and will be taking place through until SATURDAY 23RD MARCH.

TODAY (THURSDAY 21ST MARCH) sees the start of the MEN competition, with the MEN SP due to commence at 11.10 local time/15.10 UK time/18.10 Moscow time.

VOVA is scheduled to be the 22nd skater to take to the ice (6th/last out in the 4th warm up group), at 14.19 local time/18.19 UK time/21.19 Moscow time, out of the 40 in this competition.

As always, fingers crossed, for a solid performance from VOVA today…one cannot win it in the SP, but one can certainly lose it 🙄 !

What a great event for VOVA the MERANO ICE TROPHY, ITALY, which took place from FRIDAY 23RD through until SUNDAY 25TH FEBRUARY, turned out to be.

After placing 3rd in the SP, VOVA went one better and placed 2nd out of 10 with a score of 148.54 in the FS, and 2nd overall with a total score of 228.57, thus taking home the SILVER medal.

Many congratulations VOVA 👏👏👏😍❤️🌷

And a good omen for the upcoming ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS, due to take place in MONTREAL, CANADA, from MONDAY 18TH through until SUNDAY 24TH MARCH 🙏🤞 !

Many congratulations to VOVA 👏👏👏 for a 3rd place finish out of 11 YESTERDAY (SATURDAY 24TH FEBRUARY) in the SENIOR MEN SP at the MERANO ICE TROPHY, ITALY, which is taking place from FRIDAY 23RD through until TODAY (SUNDAY 25TH FEBRUARY), with a score of 80.03 that included the 2nd highest TES.

The SENIOR MEN SP is due to commence at 16.50 local time/15.50 UK time/18.50 MOSCOW time TODAY with VOVA scheduled to be the 9th skater to take to the ice (4th out in the second warm up group), at 18.02 local time/17.02 UK time/19.02 MOSCOW time, out of the 11 in this competition.

VOVA will be back in competitive action again this weekend when he competes at the MERANO ICE TROPHY, ITALY, which is taking place from FRIDAY 23RD through until SUNDAY 25TH FEBRUARY.

The SENIOR MEN SP is due to commence at 20.25 local time/19.25 UK time/22.25 MOSCOW time TOMORROW (SATURDAY 24TH FEBRUARY), with VOVA scheduled to be the 7th skater to take to the ice (1st out in the second warm up group), at 21.03 local time/20.03 UK time/23.03 MOSCOW time, out of the 11 in this competition.

On SATURDAY 13TH JANUARY VOVA competed in the MEN FS at the ISU EUROPEAN FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024, which took place from MONDAY 8TH through until SUNDAY 14TH JANUARY, in KAUNAS, LITHUANIA.

This was a stronger performance from VOVA than his SP, and he placed 15th out of 24 in the FS with a score of 139.49, that included the 10th highest TES but also a one point deduction for a fall on his triple axel, and 16th overall with a total score of 209.21.

Not a bad come back to begin 2024 with 😍❤️ !

Unfortunately YESTERDAY (WEDNESDAY 10TH JANUARY) VOVA did not have anything like the sort of skate that he is capable of in the MEN SP at the ISU EUROPEAN FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024, which are taking place this week from MONDAY 8TH through until SUNDAY 14TH JANUARY, in KAUNAS, LITHUANIA.

VOVA placed 20th out of 32 with a score of 69.72 that included the 19th highest TES, and the 14th highest PCS, but also a one point deduction for a fall on his opening quad Salchow,

He did at least qualify for the MEN FS, which is due to take place TOMORROW (FRIDAY 12TH JANUARY) at 18.00 local time/16.00 UK time/19.00 Moscow time, with VOVA scheduled to be the 6th skater to take to the ice, at 18.46 local time/16.46 UK time/19.46 Moscow time, out of the 24 in this competition.

The ISU EUROPEAN FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024 are taking place this week, from MONDAY 8TH through until SUNDAY 14TH JANUARY, in KAUNAS, LITHUANIA, and once again VOVA will be looking to make a good impression at this annual event…..

The MEN SP is due to commence at 17.50 local time/15.50 UK time/18.50 Moscow time TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY 10TH JANUARY) with VOVA scheduled to be the 24th skater to take to the ice (4th out in the 5th warm up group), at 20.45 local time/18.45 UK time/21.45 Moscow time, out of the 32 in this competition.
