Blake still has a cough that seems will never go away.

His dad was hit next. His started over a week ago and he continues to cough.

I was last. I started not feeling well this past Thursday.

Blake was in need of a shave when he first got sick…so it has been way overdue! His chin was beginning to look like Shaggy on Scoobie Doo 😅

Tonight he finally has a clean shaved face thanks to his dad!

Many years ago, as we tried to prepare Blake for shaving, we thought we would most likely be using an electric razor when the time came. We would rub the back side of electric hair trimmer on his cheeks to get him used to that sensation.

That preparation did help. However, the electric razors we tried did not provide much of a close shave. We were having to do it a couple of times a week and Blake did not like that at all.

So, we tried to shave him with an actual razor. It took some time to get his entire face shaved in one sitting as he has a hard time staying still.

The last few times, he has sat very still for us and has actually seemed to enjoy it.

One clean shaved face…in less than 5 minutes! That’s a win!

I am very proud of Blake! 🎉
