@prince_ea reminded me the other day that we need to believe that we are growing.
He suggested saying, “Every day and in every way, I’m getting better and better.”
I love that, and I’m doing it like he said: 20 times in the morning and at night.
Why?
Because life has beaten me up and knocked me around, and I WILL NOT let the hard times win!
I must remind myself that even if it looks and feels like I’m failing (heartbreak, divorce, starting over) the truth is that EVERY day I’m getting better and better…for instance: I’m growing in Christ, I’m trying new things, I’m serving others, I’m working hard.💪
And you are too! Every day you are getting better and better! You’re doing your best to live this life and love God and others, and I believe in you.

She’s helping me see that God puts desires in our hearts such as “to be a mother,” “to be a teacher,” “to be an influencer,” or whatever the case may be, in order to lead us towards fulfilling the purpose He designed us for.
