ESC - Extreme Scrutiny Club
Hello! We’re the ESC podcast - the Extreme Scrutiny Club! Each episode, three robots are brought to the table to be grilled and examined, before the hosts sentence each machine to ascend to our heavenly Arena in the Sky, or plummet down to our Pit of Hellfire and Oblivion.
The podcast has become known for our manic debates, childish teasing, and chaotic one-liners. No machine is safe, and our aim is to spark discussion on every kind of robot, from the underappreciated to the overhyped, assessing our long-held beliefs about them as we go, aided by our both experiences as viewers and builders, and by our expert special guests from the worlds of Youtube, Robot Wars and Battlebots.
ESC is made up of 5 individuals: Reira (Team Nelly/Trans-cendant Robotics), Oliver (Team Motte & Bailey) and Sean (TheDominusIgnis) make up your main hosts, with our audio engineer, Ned (Spoiler Alert), and our overseer, Mitch (TheOrcCorp) joining us on occasion.
