Beloved among whisky enthusiasts in Shanghai, 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 is devoted to promoting and sharing whisky culture with budding enthusiasts. The first venue on Nanjing West Road saw a low-key launch on November 6, 2021, but almost immediately scooped up the 2022 British Restaurant & Bar Design Awards for its unique aesthetic. Red copper and repeated ring-shaped elements permeate the venue, which resembles the cavernous heart of a volcano. 🌋

The brand survived the pandemic despite an absence of strong walk-in sales — all thanks to its impressive stock of spirits. As anyone who experienced lockdown would know, alcohol was very much a salve in those challenging times, and the bar's bottles of whisky flew off the shelves. Not only did 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 scrape by, but it has also expanded and opened a second location on East Huaihai Road in November 2023. 🥃

Enter 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗜𝗜, also known as the 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗜𝗜: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲. While the brand spanking new space shares the same DNA as its sister bar, loyal customers are bound to recognise detailed upgrades in various dimensions: location, floor area, design, technology, drinks and food menu, etc. Take advantage of the ‘Deep Double Festival’ promo listed in the last slide and celebrate the last moments of 2023 at the new bar before we launch into 2024… 🚀

Congrats! Three foreign friends have recorded the most beautiful scenes of Suzhou through their own lenses and promoted it on international social media platforms, thus becoming the winners of the "Suzhou in Foreign Eyes" photo contest.
