Anyone who knows anything about electronic music knows Sequential (aka Sequential Circuits) and the genius Dave Smith who founded the company in 1975. His contributions to all subsequent music are immeasurable; he was also the driving force behind the MIDI standard, which pervades everything related to electronic music production to this day. We learned today of Dave’s passing - yet another genius pioneer no longer with us. RIP Dave 😢

My set from the "Club Ready Tribe" May Live Stream, captured on May 28th, 2022. This was shot against a greenscreen and composited live in OBS Studio for streaming via Mixcloud. Man it was hot under the lights and I was sweating profusely just a few minutes into the set, which was quite unpleasant and also quite distracting. I normally don't mix my progressive sets quite so rapidly, but for this event, I wanted to expose the audience to a much greater selection of sounds and artists. That said, it was a ton of fun to mix these tracks, and close out a long day of excellent mixes from some fantastic DJs. This is the whole thing, with all the sweaty mixing involved. Enjoy!
