The first time I patronized a hookup girl was the last time I ever made such a move.

E reach my turn I go carry Queen mother.

So I had acquired this girl's number from an agent and called her almost immediately. We spoke on phone for a couple of minutes and after a short bargain, we finally agreed on a fee.

I sent her my hotel address and room number and she promised to come in an hour time.

I waited till almost eternity, daughter of eve never showed up.

I was set to call back the agent when her call suddenly came in. She apologized for the delay and told me she was close by.

The time was past 11PM when she finally arrived the hotel.

After another round of plea from her, I buried my grievance and went to the bathroom for a quick shower. When I was done, she too went in to freshen up.

Meanwhile I had already locked the door and swallowed the key.

While I was still waiting for her, at exactly 12midnight, I suddenly heard a harrowing cry from the bathroom. I jumped off the bed in fright and called out to her. There was no response.

I tiptoed to the bathroom and placed my ears by the door. I heard voices in low tones.

"Why did you let him live?" I heard a hoarse masculine voice.

"My Lord! I tried my best to lure him but, but." Another stuttering voice replied, it was hers

"You had a simple task!" The masculine voice yelled "But you failed to deliver!"

"My Lord!" Her trembling voice came up again "Please just a second chance! I promise to deliver! just this once!"

By this time I was already wearing my clothes in readiness to flee. I was also sweating profusely despite the presence of the chilling air-conditioner. I spoke in tongues for the very first time.

It was when I had reached the exit door that I realized I had fuc-ked up. I began to bang the door ceaselessly, calling on whosoever could hear me... Now I was crying.

I was still banging the door when the bathroom door swung open and she stepped out. She had a towel tied round her.

"Sweetheart! You're dressed up. Where are you going?" She asked me

"I forgot, I wan buy, I just want to" I stuttered incoherently, moving frightfully towards the open window.

"What are you saying?" She quizzed further "You're even sweating and crying"

She was still speaking when I jumped out the open window and landed on the roof of the security house. I didn't mind, I still jumped to the floor and took to my heels in the dark.

I was lucky to spot a bike-man and I quickly flagged him down and hopped behind.

"Oga where you dey go?" The bike-man asked me

"Oga just dey fire dey go" I replied in tears "Help me find any bible believing church enter"

Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) – The story of the man who never gave up on his dreams.

Rowan Atkinson was born in a middle-class family and suffered terribly as a child because of his stuttering. He was also teased and bullied at school because of his looks. His bullies thought he looked like an alien. He was soon marked a strange and became a very shy, withdrawn kid who didn’t have many friends, so he dived into science, one of his teachers said. There was nothing outstanding about him. I did not expect him to be a brilliant scientist, but he has proved everyone wrong. Admitted to Oxford University during his days, he started falling in love with acting but couldn’t perform due to his speaking disorder. he got his master’s degree in electrical engineering before appearing in any movie or TV show after getting his degree, he decided to pursue his dream and become an actor so he enrolled in a comedy group but again, his stammering got in the way.

A lot of TV shows rejected him, and he felt devastated but despite the many rejections. He never stopped believing in himself. He had a great passion for making people laugh and knew that he was very good at it. he started focusing more and more on his original comedy sketches and soon realized that he could speak fluently whenever he played some character. he found a way to overcome his stuttering and his also used there is an inspiration for his acting. While studying for his master’s Rowan Atkinson co-created the strange, surreal, and now speaking character known as Mr. Bean.

He had success with other shows, Mr. Bean made him globally famous and despite all the obstacles, he faced because of his looks and his speaking disorder, he proved that even without a heroic body or a Hollywood face, you can become one of the most loved and respected actors in the world. The motivational success story of Rowan Atkinson. It’s so inspiring because it teaches is that to be successful in life, the most important things are passion, hard work, dedication and never giving up, because without caring about our feelings and weaknesses.

Moral of the story:
No one is born perfect. Don’t be afraid. People can accomplish amazing things every day in spite of their weaknesses and failures. So go and do the best you can with the one life you’ve got..

Amazon has been ordered 14 days to remove the Eyo masquerade from the film "Gangs of Lagos" by Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos.

On April 7, the Jade Osiberu-directed film became available to the general public via Amazon's Prime Video.

In "Gangs of Lagos," a group of pals are forced to deal with the challenges of growing up on the city's streets.

The public has criticized the movie for depicting the Eyo masquerade, which is exclusive to the Lagos neighborhood of Isale Eko, as being worn by a group of murderers.

Irate locals have also criticized the movie's depiction of Isale Eko as a haven for criminals.

As a result, the Isale Eko Descendants Union (IDU) filed a lawsuit against Amazon and the film’s producers. The union is demanding ₦10 billion in damages.

Sensational Nigerian singer, John Ighodaro, better known as Johnny Drille, has revealed the inspiration behind his hit song ‘How Are You My Friend’.

He said the death of the mother of his record label boss, Don Jazzy, inspired the song.

He disclosed this in a recent interview with Hip TV.

Johnny Drille said he co-wrote ‘How Are You My Friend’ with Don Jazzy, adding that the song was the idea of the Mavin boss.

He said, “For ‘How Are You My Friend’, the inspiration behind it was, Don Jazzy has just lost his mum like a couple of weeks prior.

“I guess, maybe this was his own way of talking about it because a lot of people were reaching out to him that he has not heard from like years. So, it just kind of hit him that, ‘Omo, I actually have these many friends that I have not spoken with for so long.’

“I also think that we are also in pretty touch times. The economy is crazy. A lot of people having it hard. A lot of people going through things in their lives that sometimes they don’t feel comfortable sharing them. And I guess, maybe that is why people have been able to connect with the song.”

When archeologists came to Africa and found elongated skulls, they run with it that it was the skulls of the “ALIENS” who built those sophisticated and advanced civilizations that were scattered all over Africa.

The elongated skull has been a part and parcel of the traditions of some African tribes, especially the Mangbetu tribe of the Congo.

Below is a mother and daughter from the Mangbetu tribe, in 1930 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Limpombo (head elongation) was believed to allow the brain to grow bigger thus increasing intelligence and it was also a sign of beauty.

The Mangbetu are celebrated for their exquisite art and music, with the renowned Mangbetu harp/guitar symbolizing their cultural heritage. These prized instruments have fetched over $100,000, while musicologists strive to document their captivating melodies.

The Mangbetu captivated European colonists with their distinctively elongated heads, achieved through the traditional practice known as Lipombo. By tightly wrapping infants' heads with cloth, they created a remarkable appearance that became synonymous with their culture.

However, with the influx of Europeans and the spread of Westernization, this practice gradually declined from the 1950s onwards. Nonetheless, the unmistakable Mangbetu figures in African art continue to serve as enduring testaments to their unique aesthetic heritage.
