Marella is about ready to head out to her spring teaching engagement in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. While there, she hopes to not only see a lot of cool things, teach a lot of undoubtedly cool students, eat lots of cool & hot food, and continue work on her Angels' Share series. So look forward to Feeding the Bird of Tondal, Heap of Broken Images, and Her Hair in Fiery Points coming later in 2022.

Marella Sands now has two new books out: Descending Skies and Visiting Strangers. Also, she has a new playlist on her YouTube channel: Word of the Rings. That will feature anything related to Lord of the Rings and the new Amazon Prime show which will take place on Numenor in the Second Age.

Marellal's short story "Nest" has been adapted as a radio play and will be part of the 2021 St. Lou Fringe fest in August

Sept 24-26 and Oct 1-3 are the performance dates for Marella's play "Kick in the Pants" which will be produced by First Run Theatre for their Spectrum 2021 season.
