Don’t underestimate the camera you have with you! You can capture and edit photos with whatever equipment and skill level you have. You will probably need to take and edit thousands of photos before really getting into your groove, so keep shooting!

Did you know that hitting that “save” (bookmark) icon on Instagram is the most impactful action for the algorithm? Followed by share, then like, then comment. So when you see content you like the most, save it and Instagram will show you more like that post!

Rillito River Bridge at Night

This is unusual for Tucson, flowing water in the Rillito River. It’s normally a dry bed and will run a bit after rainstorms but not for long. It’s been more common this summer to see water flowing through here, as there has been more rain this monsoon season than any I can remember!

Tried a new method for capturing the called image stacking. There’s a variety of ways to accomplish this, but in essence you capture at least 3 of the same image and then stack them in post to reduce digital noise and retain detail in the ! I’ll never go back to single photo star shots again! I used an app called Starry Landscape Stacker to get a final single stacked image, then completed the edit in
