Here's an update on how Ashburn's speller did in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Nargiza Muzhapaer, a Fairfax County seventh-grader, has reached the semifinals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, while three other Northern Virginia spellers were eliminated in Wednesday's quarterfinals. Muzhapaer attends Pinnacle Academy.
