A Dry Pocket Zine 'A Dry Pocket to P*ss in' integral document of the burgeoning Queercore and alt. q***r zine explosions of the 80's and 90's created by Stevec Bones

'A Dry Pocket to P*ss in', the infamous one shot Zine document curated by Stevec Bones represents a tradition within alt. q***r culture of establishing disparate voices from within an excluded aspect of LGBT identity culture via the rejection of mainstream media in favour of DIY aesthetic and publication. Featuring content that sought to attack cultural institutions of homophobia, r**e culture and

the abuses of powerful religious constructs - for instance, the Catholic Church. Guides to breast and testicular self examination were also included alongside self-defence manuals. 'Dry...' perfectly encapsulates the explosive energy of the Queercore movement which later influenced and helped to instigate the Riot Grrrl of the early to mid nineties and still resonates with a generation of aspiring q***r artists and cultural activists alike. Stevec has been described by avant garde film maker and legendary musician of Fifth Column and Opera Arcana as:
