Abongan NHS Drum and Lyre Corp. takes home prestigious awards
In the 2024 Baragatan’s LGU Drum and Lyre competition, Abongan NHS DLC competed, and won not only Best in Costume, but also 1st place in the said event.
Gov. Alfredo Abueg Sr. Nat'l Technological & Vocational Memorial High School hailed as the Champion, while Sta. Monica High School won 2nd place among the 9 schools around the province that competed at PGP Convention Center on June 13, 2024.
The team represented the Municipality of Taytay on the said competition, which is under the advisorship of Erlinda F. Paulino Jr., Romar E. Servano, Rosalyn S. Muntak and Janine P. Tabayocyoc with their trainors Kimber Carl V. Adier and Jesabel P. Tabayocyoc.
This wouldn't have been achieved without the full support of the LGU of Taytay with the leadership of Mayor Christian V. Rodriguez and other officials and staff, even the Barangay Council of Brgy. Abongan with Barangay Captain Marbert E. Batuta, and of course from the school's principal of Abongan NHS
