I'm having a lot of fun this week, with video intros. If you're in the market for a fast, easy way to grab more attention on video platforms, a great intro is a solid way to create consistency, brand recognition, and draw immediate attention. Especially on social media, where the first few seconds are vital!
I am absolutely stoked to be doing some work with @theboisebeardsmith

Fiat 500L
Playing with After Effects today, making a little animation of a Fiat 500.
I'd like to show an example of how a very purposely designed logo can be effective in many ways.
I made this logo for an Instagram account, and intentionally did so in order for it to be versatile. Modifications to the background of the logo can be made to accomplish many many ideas, while the primary structure remains the same, to retain continuity.
Smokin' Hot GoPros
About a month ago, I was approached to do a video project to promote the Quad County Truck Academy training, in Eagle, Idaho. After planning the shoot, I not only came to terms with the possible loss of a GoPro or two, but I was literally excited to see one perish in the unbelievable heat they were being sent into.
Not only did they all survive, despite emerging from these spaces entirely too hot to touch... But they also came out still recording, and ready to use again after a quick cool down.
In the end, I was a little disappointed that none of them had a catastrophic meltdown. So I soaked one in accelerant and lit it up. After very literally being on fire, it didn't just record the event... I've used it since, and the fire seems to have absolutely no effect on its performance. Just stunning!
Thank you, #GoPro, for making a seriously quality camera!!
