In its beginning periods the Review, named back then "Zavarian Monthly", was published under the compass of the "Aztag Daily" Armenian newspaper. Starting from 1983, the "Zavarian Monthly" was retitled "Zavarian Review". Henceforth, this trilingual (Arabic, French, and English) magazine would little by little record a worthy transformation notably in the esthetics of its presentation. In late 2009
, on the occasion of Zavarian Review's 30th anniversary, the Z.S.A. decided to follow the new trend and to introduce the Zavarian Review to the online arena of digital information. This is certainly considered to be a positive shift in the Review's 30-years path, a shift towards higher efficiency, deeper professionalism and wider reach. The Zavarian Review contains a variety of topics, from politics and history, to economic and social issue, to sciences and technology, which are published in form of articles, research papers or interviews. The articles and papers published in the Review are mostly written or prepared by the editing team. However many university students, scholars and lecturers also send us articles and researches to be published in the Review. The Zavarian Review is distributed free among the academic circles, to lecturers and students, as well as to political figures and foreign ambassadors.
