Planet Love Records was founded in 1992 by German musician, composer, songwriter and producer Torsten Stenzel. For several years the label served as a platform for renowned electronic artists such as Taucher, York, Sakin & Friends, Marc Green, DJ Mind-X, The Sunseekers, DJ Buzz & many more. Label owner Torsten Stenzel began his musical career early in his childhood, learning the piano from the ten
der age of 5 when he began his classical training. Until the age of 18 classical music and theory were his life, even playing the church organ in his home town for 2 years. In the early 90's his orientation changed and he discovered the rapidly growing techno/house movement. Little by little he put together his own studio and combined parts of his own musical production skills under the broad control of classical theory. Torsten is currently one of the hottest and most in demand producers in Germany having worked with the likes of Tina Turner, Nelly Furtado, Jennifer Paige, All Saints, Moby, Tarja Turunen, Faithless, Vanessa Mae, Chris Rea, Rick Nowels, Rob Davis and Nadja Benaissa. With 20 years of production experience and several Gold & Platinum awards, the 'Echo' Nomination and 3 million sold records, Torsten Stenzel is without a doubt a 'Master of Club and Dancemusic'. Torsten Stenzel completly stopped the Labelwork in 1998, at a time where his last two releases on Planet Love, 'Dj Sakin & Friends - Braveheart' & York's 'The Awakening', went through the roof in the worldwide salescharts. From November 17 2011 to third quarter 2013 Planet Love Records was a sub-label of major dutch record label, Armada Music. As of start 2014 Planet Love Records is now with renown dutch record label, Black Hole Recordings. The label production facility is located in English Harbour, on the Caribbean island Antigua.
