The Proposal Story: “I knew I wanted a private proposal free from any staging or photography because I wanted us to surprise our closest friends and family afterwards. The day that Charlie proposed, he took me to his family’s land to practice shooting s***t. I was not suspicious considering what an avid upland hunter that he is. I figured he just wanted me ready for hunting season which was about to begin. It was a sweet afternoon, and as the sun began to set, Charlie began to get really nervous. I knew something was up and started to wonder if he was going to propose. He did! It was everything I wanted and such a peaceful backdrop.
