Beautiful Zápor 🦄 she's 1 month old and has a very promising personality. She is friendly and vivid, curious and brave, likes kids and tolerates tools. I think we are very lucky to have both our foals that was born for us to be like this. Is that really luck? Or proper handling? I think we need both 🙃 but let me know what you think, what are your own foals like 🐴
Pouring water and Indy is showing his love, being nice and gentle as usual 💜
Who's boss in your herd? 😎 Nina drinks first and won't let the ponies close until she's done.
How to catch a foal 😁😎 easy peasy 💜🦄
It is national bee day in Hungary. Our yard got occupied by thousands of bees couple days ago and more are coming. They are thirsty, come to the water. The problem is that horses are allergic to bee stings. I hope there won't be a problem because the bees stay until next weekend. There are lots of travelling beekepers in the surrounding forests because of the flowering acacia. We remove the water tanks of the horses every day so the bees can drink from the ground and stay on the previous water spot. It will be lots of work and planning because of the length of our hose but the safety of the horses and also the bees is important. 🐝🐴 This situation is very new to us but from now on every spring we have to get prepared for it.

Indy's mom Nina is a very well trained, well behaved horse. But also tends to be tense during tasks. She is compliant but not comfortable. I always give her enough time to relax after a completed task before I ask for something else. She is 22 this summer, I think she's burned out 😑 it's important to notice! ☝️
No grains, only grass and hay.
Healthy and strong 2 years old sportaloosa stallion.
You may achieve spectacular growth in sporthorse foals with excessive protein intake, but their joints are not ready for that and can't keep up with the increased muscle strength. Grains are not natural forage for horses. We should provide a variety of grass species, herbs and hedges instead.
Your colt is rearing/pushing/bolting/trampling? Stallion foals can be challenging if they are not handled properly from the beginning. 🐴
Mine just walks into everybody's personal space in a very cute way, wants some scratches. This is still rude, we are working on it. If you want to work with us, please contact me, I might be able to help you :)
