I’ve been chainsaw carving Christmas things and cardinals the past few days. Since I’ve been carving these birds I’ve also had multiple people message me about how special they are to them… I had no idea these little birds were so popular! Apparently they have much more meaning than just being little red birds…

Something that is always an obstacle in the field with P*P’s is refilling. It’s no fun when you have to make the long hike back to the truck for a refill. So I got a new 2.0 Liter air tank from Scandinavian Arms and It comes with a backpack. If you’re in the field and know you’re going to be pulling the trigger a lot… this is a great option. This will be my go to when squirrel season kicks in! 🙌

I started shooting airguns when I was 14 for my high school rifle team. I continued to shoot 10 meter airgun matches thru NCAA, and then after college I gave it up to pursue my career…. ( I was also broke from college and couldn’t afford matches 😂)

It wasn’t until about 5 years ago when I discovered a new style of air-gunning! I had no idea there were airgun matches outside of 10 meter and am so thankful I stumbled across this sport!

The airgun community is so supportive and it’s a fantastic way to get into shooting sports. If you ever have any questions on how to get involved, don’t hesitate to ask!

Last week I got to travel to one of my favorite places in the world and challenge myself to take a merriam with a 30 cal P*P pellet rifle. I must say it’s not the easiest way to kill a turkey, but it’s effective! No matter what I’m hunting I get excited, my heart starts pounding, and for turkeys it’s 10x that because for whatever reason these birds are my crux. 🤪 that being said… I had to dig deep and calm those nerves as this tom came running in to make one reaaaaaally accurate shot. From the time we saw him it all happened in about 15 seconds and he dropped right in his tracks!

Needless to say I got an Osceola with my Umarex USA, Inc. air saber! And I owe this incredible adventure to the wild child 🤪 we had an absolute blast cracking jokes and chasing birds. Doing some target practice before this Turkey season kicks off! The next thing I’m going to practice is getting my shots off faster by setting a timer. If you know anything about Turkeys they rarely stay still for ya and their heads are on a swivel. 😵‍💫🦃 preparing for the hard shots… hoping for the easiest ones 😅🙌

My first Safari Club International - SCI is in the books! It was a blast getting to meet new faces and reconnect with friends in the industry. This convention brought people from all around the world, but we all have the same passion for conservation and love of the outdoors. I will be using this airgun on my Idaho Turkey hunt this spring. It’s extremely accurate, can push out to 1000 fps ( with 44.75g ) and have up to 99ft lbs of energy at the barrel.

I may not be that fast… but I felt pretty fast 😅 I’m loving this Athlon Optics Midas CF32 tripod. I didn’t want a super heavy tripod because I plan on taking this into the field, but at the same time wanted something with a little weight at the range. It’s a great middle ground option that’s been fun to shoot with.
