Without sleep you can’t form or maintain the pathways in your brain that let you learn and create new memories, and it’s harder to concentrate and respond quickly.

Try and make peace with whatever has happened in your past. Accept it for what it was, take what lessons and advice you can from that situation. Learn from it and be grateful for how it has helped you evolve.

As soon as you take responsibility for your actions and everything that you have experienced, you can start to look forward to the future. 🌈 ☀️

I really believe that everything happens for a reason, every new person you meet is a possible teacher and every situation is a new opportunity to learn something.

To me this quote means that your life will be what you put into it. If you are hateful or mean to others, you will find that in your life. If you are kind and helpful to others, you will have that in your life.

It reminds me always that at every moment, every turn, decision you come across, you have a choice and your attitude and response to the moment, will have a bigger part in shaping your life. 🤍

This reminds me that we cannot control all the circumstances that come our way, but we have the power to control our reactions to them.💙

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. 🩵

There is no better feeling than doing what you say you’ll do 🩵

How often have you made promises to yourself that you didn’t keep? You promise yourself that you’ll finish that assignment, call back your parents, get back into the gym, tidy the cupboard… and then you make an excuse and you begin to procrastinate and then the task becomes this way bigger hurdle than it needs to be.🌈

What if instead of doing that, you started to see the promises that you make to yourself as UNBREAKABLE and NON-NEGOTIABLE? I can guarantee you would see your life transform. Stop going for dinner with people that make you feel bad. Stop following people on Instagram that make you feel inadequate or sad.🤍

Our lives are previous, our wellbeing is dictated by how we spend our time, what we focus our thoughts on and who we surround ourselves with.

Start being selfish with your time and your energy. Put it into things that make you feel good. When you take time to really consider how much of your life you spend doing things you, actually, don’t want to be doing, you can start to make really changes.🌍

Why waste time worrying about someone who treated you badly when you could put that energy and focus into the people around you who treat you with love and respect?

Take a few moments a day to think of 3-5 things that you are GRATEFUL for in your life.

1. I am grateful for spending time with family this weekend.family🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
2. I am grateful for the lighter evenings and the sunshine that is bringing happiness into my life.☀️
3. I am grateful for my physical health and that I get to go out on walks/runs every day.🏃‍♀️

I promise it isn’t always easy. Take a moment to appreciate the gift of life. We often get caught up always rushing around and forget to be grateful for the simple things.

Practice daily affirmations and cultivate a mindset of gratitude. Some days it will be a struggle to come up with even one thing. There’s always going to be something to be grateful for. When you’re able to change your perspective it will open up a whole new mindset.🤩
