Call for Stories: Share Your West Point Experiences on "LightCast" Audio Journeys

Hello West Point Community!

Are you a resident or a lover of West Point with a story to tell? We invite you to contribute to the inaugural episode of "Lightcast," an innovative podcast series designed to immerse listeners in the rich tapestry of various locales across Prince Edward Island, starting with the beautiful and unique West Point.

About LightCast:
LightCast is a podcast series that aims to transform the driving time of visitors into an enriching journey, filled with stories, history, and culture of the areas they explore. Our goal is to deepen the connection between our listeners and the places they visit, providing them with an engaging, educational, and entertaining experience.

What Are We Looking For?
We are seeking personal stories, anecdotes, historical accounts, and unique insights that paint a vivid picture of West Point. Whether it's folklore, personal experiences, knowledge about local flora and fauna, or cultural insights – your stories are what we need to bring West Point to life in our podcast.

Job Posting: Voice Actor for "Lightcast" Podcast Series

Position: Voice Actor

Location: West Prince, Prince Edward Island
Type: Contract/Part-Time

About the Project:
"Lightcast" is an innovative podcast series dedicated to exploring the rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty of Prince Edward Island (PEI). Our mission is to provide an immersive audio experience that educates and entertains our listeners, enhancing their travel experience across PEI. Each episode focuses on a different area, bringing to life the stories, history, people, flora, and fauna of that location.

Role Description:
We are seeking a talented and versatile voice actor to bring our podcast episodes to life. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, an engaging voice, and the ability to convey a range of emotions through their vocal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide voice-over narration for our podcast episodes.
Collaborate with the production team to understand the tone, style, and direction of each episode.
Interpret scripts and bring characters to life through a compelling vocal performance.
Attend recording sessions.
Work with the production team to ensure high-quality audio output.

Requirements:

Professional experience in voice acting, broadcasting, or a related field is an asset.
Excellent verbal communication skills and clear articulation.
Ability to portray a range of emotions through voice.
Comfortable with collaboration and able to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with recording process is a plus.
