After spending so much time with L.M. Montgomery's journals researching for my novel "Maud and Me" I became more and more fascinated by this amazing Canadian icon. Most people are familiar with her book Anne of Green Gables, but few people know much about its creator. I became obsessed with the idea of writing a play to bring her life to the stage. It's been a tougher challenge than I anticipated! Tomorrow, at the Baggage and Arts Building at 7:00 p.m. I will be reading a scene from my work in progress. Hope you can join me there at the kick-off for Thunder Bay's Culture Days!
