My name is Lexie Joos, I am 18 years old and I'm from Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation also known as Nelson House. I proudly belong to the Rocky Cree treaty 5. I'm thrilled to represent my community as a contestant for the first-ever Miss Indigenous Canada2024 pageant.
I recently graduated highschool being Valedictorian and was awarded seven awards including Governor General. I’ve had a deep connection to the land and my culture since a very young age, so this opportunity is truly special.
